Special sports event organised by police department in Pollachi to increase rapport with the public.

Pollachi: Police officials in Pollachi organised a special sports event along with pongal celebration to maintain good rapport with the public. A lot of people participated in the event along with the families of the police officials.

The event took place at the NGM college ground in Pollachi which had games like Lemon in the spoon, tug of war, musical chair and various other games for children and adults.

Later police officials and their families along with the local public kept pongal at the venue without any differences.

North Zone IG Periaiah, DIG Karthikeyan, Coimbatore SP Arularasu, Pollachi DSP Sivakumar, Inspectors, Sub Inspectors and other officials took part in the event.

North Zone IG Periaiah distributed the gifts to the children who won at the various games held at the event.
